The PrintEXIF and GalleryFrame scripts have now been updated to work in Adobe® Photoshop® CS3. Actually, the GalleryFrame script worked in CS3 but I had not updated the installation instructions to reflect the CS3 folder hierarchy. PrintEXIF took a little more work. Either or both scripts can be installed in the Program Files>Adobe>Adobe Photoshop CS3>Presets>Scripts folder (Windows) or Applications>Adobe Photoshop CS3>Presets>Scripts folder (Mac OS X). The current versions are PrintEXIF v2.1 and GalleryFrame v1.0.
More information can be found in my previous posts on each script, including detailed information on the installation, customization and use of the PrintEXIF script.
PrintEXIFv2.1:
GalleryFramev1.0:
I am working on extensive modifications to the PrintEXIF script to make it easier to use and to make it more compatible with different camera makes and models. Some of the changes targeted for PrintEXIF v3.0 are:
- Recognition of system fonts to make it easier to select fonts
- More use of available EXIF data
- Less dependence on Nikon Transfer
- Cleaner GUI
Stay tuned.
